Maintenance of Cold-Air chillers

Whilst most clinics have a service contract in place for their Laser system; Accessory devices, which are vital for the safe and effective use of the Laser, are often omitted from the cover.

A lot of laser clinics make use of a cold-air cooling system to provide the client with chilled-air pain-relief when performing techniques such as laser hair-removal or Onychomycosis treatment.

The most common cold-air system is use in the UK are the Zimmer system, which is German manufactured, and the UK manufactured, iCool system. The latter are sold with a three year manufacturers warranty and have an excellent reliability record.

With both devices, the Laser Market can provide a service solution to the cooler in the form of a preventive maintenance program, a one off repair visit if your system has stopped functioning, or part exchange on a new unit.

Our contracted Refrigeration Engineers cover the whole of the United Kingdom and, if necessary, can provide a replacement cooler whilst your system is being repaired.

Annual Maintenance contract

Annual maintenance service of Cold-air systems is recommended to reduce the chance of breakdown. The Annual maintenance visit includes:

  • General check of components and tightening of connections and joints
  • Cleaning of internal components
  • Checking/Adjusting compressor for correct operation
  • Refrigerant level check and topping up
  • Fan cleaning
  • Filters cleaned and replaced

Repair visits.

Breakdowns always happen at the most inconvenient time. After all, if you did not need the chiller, you would not have turned it on and discovered the fault.

Our contracted Refrigeration Engineers will attend the premises at a mutually convenient time, assess the system and in most cases provide an on the spot repair. Where the system cannot be fixed on site, they will leave you with a loan system whilst the system is repaired.

Payment of the Call-Out fee for repair visits is required at booking, with a subsequent payment for part used on the day. If the system cannot be repaired on site, an additional fee of 50% of the Call-Out fee is payable for leaving a replacement unit on site, repairing the original and re-installation in the clinic.

All repairs are guaranteed for 6 months.
